ODP 2024 State Convention

Erie County ODP State Convention Delegates:
Alan Griffiths – SAN I/President – Sandusky Democratic Club
Darlene Walk – SAN H/President – NAACP Sandusky Unit 3199
Amy Grubbe – HUR TWP #2/Chair – Erie County Democratic Party
Derek Graves, Member/Sandusky City Democrats

  • Scheduled same day as Family Reunion to follow immediately after State Convention.
  • No fee associated with convention this year.
  • ECDP has 3 delegates:  2 males/1 female; county chairs are automatically delegates
    • If delegate identifies as non-binary, then next highest vote getter will be second delegate.
    • Delegates are voting members of convention.
    • Any business – including amending ODP C&B – will be voted on at convention.
    • Election of 2024 Electors for the Electoral College via Caucus-style vote for each Congressional District level.
  • If you are interested in being a delegate, please send an email/letter to ECDP Secretary Linda Miller-Moore; deadline to submit interest: Tuesday, June 18, 2024, so that info may be emailed to Executive Committee on June 20.

  • Executive Committee will vote on delegates at June 27, 2024 meeting.
  • Preference when voting will be given in the following order:
    • Central Committee Members; if no Central Committee Members are interested;
    • Then At-Large Members will be considered;
    • If At-Large Members are not interested, then any Erie County Democrat will be considered.
  • County Chair has the right to appoint delegates, if needed.
