CAREER EXPERIENCE:

On December 3, 2011, the Erie County Democratic Party Central Committee appointed Luvada as Acting Clerk of Courts upon the sudden passing of then Erie County Clerk of Courts Barbara Johnson. Luvada was elected to her first full term on November 6, 2012, and is currently serving her third full term as Erie County Clerk of Courts.

October 31, 2011 to Present – Erie County Clerk of Courts

  • Instituted the Public Information Online Case System (PIC)
  • Implemented E-Filing (Electronic Filing)
  • Payment of court costs online or by using a mobile app
  • Collaborate with the State Auditor’s Office and the Attorney General’s Office to disburse monies left on financial book
  • Partnered with the Attorney General’s Office for the collection of court costs
  • Certified Limited Authority Deputy Registrar
  • Entered into Electronic Title Application (ETA) Agreements
